Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS ) & National Electronic Fund Transfer system (NEFT)

Bank offers Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) & National Electronic Fund Transfer system (NEFT) which enables an efficient, secure, economical and reliable system of transfer of funds from bank to bank as well as from remitter's account in a particular bank to the beneficiary's account in another bank across the country.

 

1. RTGS:

An electronic payment system in which payment instructions between banks are processed and settled individually and continuously, on a real time basis, throughout the day. Available for transaction value of Rs.2.00 laces and above.

 

2. NEFT :

Another electronic payment system in which payment instructions between banks are processed and settled on deferred net settlement (DNS) basis at fixed times during the day. There is no minimum or maximum stipulated transaction value for using this facility.

Note :RTGS and NEFT systems work on all days except on 2nd & 4th Saturday ,Sundays and common National Holidays across the states.

 

Information Required for transfer of Funds

  • Amount to be remitted

  • Account number to be debited

  • Name of the beneficiary bank

  • Name of the beneficiary customer

  • Account no. of the beneficiary customer

  • Sender to receiver information, if any

  • IFSC code of the receiving bank branch.

  • Cash Withdrawal The most popular service on our ATMs enables customers to withdraw up to a daily limit of Rs. 25,000/- .

  • Use PIN generation menu to create new PIN/Green PIN.

  • Pin Change, Use this service to change your password at regular intervals.

  • Balance Enquiry Expecting an inflow of funds in your account? Use this service to check the current available balance in your account. You can also ‘Go Green' by selecting the view option as the balance is displayed on the screen else get a transaction receipt by selecting print.

  • Mini statement Keep track of the transactions in your account by availing this service. Mini-statement gives you an insight into the last 10 transactions in your account.

 

ATM SECURITY TIPS:

TIPS TO KEEP YOUR ATM TRANSACTIONS SAFE AND SECURE

 

  • Please sign on the reverse of the card immediately on receipt.

  • Change your ATM PIN regularly.

  • Never keep the PIN with the debit card or write on it. Always memorize it.

  • Do not provide the ATM card and PIN details to anyone, including Bank/IBA/RBI/Govt. agency/family/friends, etc. Bank or any other institution will never ask for this information.

  • Do not let strangers come in to the ATM room or take their help to complete the transactions.

  • Hide the keypad while keying in your PIN at ATM/POS terminals.

  • Do not throw your transaction slip in the ATM room as it contains your account information.

  • Always wait till the ATM returns to the welcome screen mode and the green light is blinking.

  • Insist on swiping your card in your presence in hotels/shops/malls, etc.

  • Never swipe your card at POS machines kept at unknown temporary stalls.

  • Block and destroy your old card, when you get a new one. Register your mobile number at the Branch to get SMS alerts for all transactions

CUSTOMERS - BE AWARE: DO'S AND DON'TS OF ATM TRANSACTIONS

DO'S

  • Conduct your ATM transactions in complete privacy, never let anyone see you entering your Personal Identification Number (ATM Password)

  • After completion of transaction ensure that welcome screen is displayed on ATM screen

  • Ensure your current mobile number is registered with the bank so that you can get alerts for all your transactions

  • Beware of suspicious movements of people around the ATM or strangers trying to engage you in conversation

  • Do check if the card given to you by the merchant after completion of the transaction is your card

  • Look for extra devices attached to the ATMs that looks suspicious

  • Inform the bank if the ATM/Debit card is lost or stolen, immediately, report if any unauthorised transaction

  • Check the transaction alert SMSs and bank statements regularly

  • If cash is not dispensed and ATM does not display “cash out” please report to the Bank on the number mentioned in the Notice Board

  • Immediately check your phone for SMS for debit amount.

DON'TS

  • Do not write your PIN on the card, memorise your PIN number

  • Do not take help from strangers or handover your card to anyone for using it

  • Do not disclose your PIN to anyone, including bank employees and family members

  • Do not allow the card to go out of your sight when you are making a payment

  • Avoid speaking on the mobile phone while you are transacting

MOBILE BANKING REGISTRATION

 

It is a functionality through which customers can execute many of the banking transactional services through mobile phone. Registration of Mobile number & ATM service in account is one of the basic perquisite to avail Mobile Banking.

STEP 1:- Download the m-connect app from play store or you can use the below link to download the app.

STEP 2:- Open the app and tick the check box for acceptance of terms & conditions and press next.

 

STEP 3:- Enter your customer ID. (you can get the customer ID from right side of the first  page of  your passbook or you can ask your customer ID at "MAY I HELP YOU" desk at any of our branch.

 

STEP 4:- Enter your chip based EVM ATM card details.

 

STEP 5:- Enter the OTP (ONE TIME PASSWORD) you get at your registered mobile number and press next.

 

STEP 6:- Now make your 4 digit Login pin & transaction pin.

 

Now you successfully registered with our Mobile Banking application.

LOCKER SERVICE

SAFE DEPOSIT LOCKERS

 

For the safety of your valuables, our locker facility offers a safe, trustworthy space to store them. There is a nominal annual rent (payable in advance), which depends upon the size of the locker and the centre at which the branch is located.

​

  • The Bank`s Safe Deposit (Locker) Service is made available to those customers who maintain a Savings/Current Account (individually or jointly). However, Lockers are not leased out to minors. Lockers can be leased out to Blind person also.

  • Locker facility is provided by the Bank at its select branches.

  • Allotment of lockers is on first-come-first served basis.

  • At the time of hiring the locker, bank will obtain a minimum security deposit in the form of FDR from the lessee which will be decided by the bank from time to time.

  • The locker will be operated during the specified timing displayed at the branches

 

Nomination For Safety Locker

 

The facility of appointment of a nominee for receiving the contents after the death of lessee is also available. In the case of a sole hirer of a locker, nomination shall be made in favour of only one individual. Where the locker is hired by two or more individuals jointly, the nomination is to be made by such hirer in favour of one or more persons. Where the locker is hired in the name of a minor, the nomination shall be made by a person lawfully entitled to act on behalf of the minor. Cancellation of nomination can be made by the sole hirer or joint hirers of the locker, as the case may be.

ECOMMERCE, POS SERVICES

 

POS Facility on Debit Card: 

 Our Bank provides you the facilty of POS swipe and shop facility on Debit card. It also gives you the  facility of cash withdrawal at PoS terminals, cardholders can withdraw cash using their debit cards and open system prepaid cards issued by banks in India.

 

ECOMM Facility on Debit Card: 

We also facilitate the service of doing online payment transaction on Rupay Debit card of our bank. The limit of doing ecomm transaction in a day is Rs.75000.00 .

Salient Features Of The Nomination Facility

 

Deposit Accounts:

  • Nomination facility is available in all type of Deposit Accounts opened by the individuals. Nomination is also available to a Sole Proprietary Concern Account.

  • Nomination can be made in favor of one person only.

  • Nomination favoring the minor is permitted on the condition that the account holder, while making the nomination, appoints another individual not being a minor, to receive the amount of the deposit on behalf of the nominee in the event of the death of the depositor during the minority of the nominee.

  • Nomination can be made only in respect of a deposit which is held in the individual capacity of the depositor and not in any representative capacity such as the holder of an office like Director of a Company, Secretary of an Association, partner of a firm,     Karta of an HUF. and the like.

  • In the case of a deposit made in the name of a minor, nomination shall be made by a person lawfully entitled to act on behalf of the minor.

  • A nomination will continue to be in force even on renewal of a term deposit, unless specifically cancelled or changed.

Who Can Nominate?

Deposit Accounts:

  • Bank account holders having deposit accounts in their individual names or, in joint names of two or more individuals.

  • A person lawfully entitled to act on behalf of the minor in respect of a deposit account.

 

How To Nominate?

Specific forms are provided for availing of nomination facility. The account holder/customer will have to fill in the relevant form. The bank will acknowledge in writing to the concerned account holder/customer, the receipt of the nomination form and the nomination will be registered in the books of the bank.

Cancellation Of, Variation In, Nomination

Cancellation of or variation in, the nomination can be made at any time as long as the account is in force. While making nomination, cancellation or change thereof, it is not required to be attested by witnesses, however, in case of thumb impression of the account holders obtained on nomination forms, are required to be attested by two witnesses. Nomination can be modified by the consent of account holder/s.
